SMG hot favourite to manage LA's Greek Theatre
Pennsylvania-based event management company SMG has emerged as the front-runner to manage LA’s Greek Theatre.
Mynewsla.com reports a rival bid was received from Spectra Venue Management, but Los Angeles Recreation and Parks officials favour SMG’s proposal as it was “more detailed”.
SMG, whose Manchester-based subsidiary SMG Europe runs a string of venues in the UK and Europe, is expected to be awarded the contract to run the theatre, initially for one year, at the committee’s meeting on September 2.
