Sony/ATV forms JV with Chainsmokers manager Adam Alpert

Sony/ATV has signed a joint venture agreement with artist manager Adam Alpert to launch a music publishing company.

The company, Selector Songs, will aim to find, develop and sign songwriters and will have a specific focus on pop and EDM talent. It will run alongside Alpert’s artist management company Disruptor Management and sister label Disruptor Records, whose releases are distributed by Sony Music as part of a strategic artist development deal.
