Sony BMG UK is further widening its remit with the launch of a TV production company joint venture run by two former BBC executives.

Fever Media, which will be overseen by the major's futures division, will be headed by David Mortimer and Richard Hopkins, who most recently were respectively the BBC's head of factual entertainment and creative head of format entertainment.
