Sony DADC Manufacturing India has appointed Rajat Kakar as business head of Home Entertainment Services.

Kakar was previously managing director of Universal Music in India.

Based in Mumbai, his new role will see Kakar work closely with international and Indian content holders and help shape the traditional and emerging retail landscape for Home Entertainment in India.

Sony DADC opened a major new state-of-the-art manufacturing, digital service and distribution facility in Navi Mumbai, India almost two years ago.
