Syco has signed a new six year deal with Sony Music.

Simon Cowell himself announced the renewal as he was honoured with the Music Industry Trusts Award last night.
He was presented with the award by One Direction at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, which was packed with top artists and executives alike, including Sony Music head Doug Morris and Columbia boss Rob Stringer.
