Sony sign electronic music producer Paul Kalkbrenner to long-term deal
Renowned Berlin techno producer Paul Kalkbrenner has signed a long-term deal with Sony Music International.
It marks the first time in a decade he has worked with a label outside of his own imprint, Paul Kalkbrenner Music, reports Billboard.
"Paul has been instrumental and most influential in the development of the electronica genre," said Sony Music International CEO Edgar Berger.
