Sony/ATV strikes VP deal

The administration agreement covers publishing copyrights and various one-stop publishing and masters rights. VP is home to artists including Sean Paul, T.OK and Wayne Wonder and, since its inception in 1958 in Kingston, Jamaica, grew to become the biggest reggae label in the world.

The VP catalogue stretches across a number of genres and eras, such as ska, roots, dub and rocksteady.
