SoundCloud: PRS deal 'paves the way for paid and advertising subscription' plans

SoundCloud SVP business development and strategy, Stephen Bryan (pictured), has told Music Week that the licensing agreement with PRS for Music "paves the way for plans to launch both paid for and advertising subscription" in 2016.

"We’re not providing details on the [launch of subscription tiers] but I would stay tuned for that," he added.

Bryan's comment about the deal was made following the news that PRS for Music had reached an agreement with SoundCloud for a multi-territory ...
