Sound Wave, a multi-million pound media finance fund has been given “advance assurance,” by HMRC.
The fund makes use of the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS), which offers tax relief for start-ups. It offers investors a minimum 50% tax reduction.
London-based singer Annie Eve will be one of the first artists to be able make use of the scheme.
Eve will be given a £150,000 investment, which will be used to set up a record label, Mouth To Mouth Recordings.
