Spotify reveals uplifts following Mercury Prize nominations

Singer Eska (pictured) has enjoyed a 2,965% uplift in UK streams since being announced on the shortlist for the 2015 Mercury Prize last week.

Fellow nominees C Duncan (1,040%) and Benjamin Clementine (455%) rounded off the top three in the data released by Spotify, which compared streams across the 24 hours prior to Friday’s announcement. 

The full run down is as follows: 

  • Eska - Eska 2,965%
  • C Duncan - Architect 1,040%
  • Benjamin Clementine - At Least For Now  ...
