Steve Strange has died in a hospital in Egypt aged 55 following a heart attack. He was believed to be on holiday in Sharm-el-Sheikh at the time.

Strange was front man of ‘80s pop group Visage and was considered a new romantics pioneer. Visage’s single Fade to Grey reached No.8 in the UK charts in 1980 and topped the charts elsewhere in Europe.
