The final day of the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago was cut short due to a severe storm.

Headliner Florence And The Machine closed the event last night but played a truncated set due to the impending adverse weather.

Fans had been told to leave the Grant Park site earlier in the day and go to one of three underground parking garages designated as emergency evacuation shelters, as lightning threatened the area, reports the BBC.
