Streaming accounted for 51% of UMG's digital revenue in Q3

Universal Music Group's (UMG) streaming revenue accounted for 51% of its total digital revenue in Q3 2015.

Parent company Vivendi issued its financial results on Tuesday, revealing €230 million streaming revenue in the quarter, 19% of total revenue and 25% of recorded music revenue. Digital revenue was €450m.

UMG's Q3 revenue fell 0.4% to €1.2 billion at constant currency (which removes currency fluctuations that impact on year-on-year comparisons) and constant perimeter (which counts revenue from assets held in the previous year) ...
