Metallica manager Cliff Burnstein has expressed his belief that streaming services will one day provide a better revenue stream than downloads.
Speaking to the New York Times, Burnstein said that there is a point at which streaming services will cannibalise its digital counterpart 100% and “we would make more money through subscription services.”
“We calculate that point at approximately 20 million worldwide subsribers,” Burnstein added.
