Accounts filed last week at Companies House for Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment, which owns the likes of X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, show a turnover of £71 million in the year to March 31, 2014.
Of the turnover, a £51 million dividend went to Sony Music, owner of half of the company.
Other dividends totalling £29m were paid to Millforth Limited, a shareholding company owned by Cowell (80%) and Topshop owner Sir Philip Green (20%).
