Seminal British band The Libertines have today signed a new worldwide record deal with Virgin EMI. The contract was inked this afternoon in Sri Racha, Thailand.
The deal reunites the band with Virgin EMI's president of music, Mike Smith, who signed them to EMI Music Publishing in 2002.
