The Vaccines have announced details of their O2 Arena gig on May 2, 2013 – their biggest UK headline show to date.
Tickets will go on pre-sale for £26 via Ticketmaster on Wednesday, September 19 and general sale on Friday, September 21 via gigsandtours.com and seetickets.com.
The band have also announced details of new single I Always Knew, to be released through Columbia Records on November 11.
Released on download and 7”, the single continues the theme of each band member writing a B-Side – this time drummer Pete Roberston contributes by writing and singing the B-side Make You Mine which was produced by Matt Boynton (Kurt Vile) at Vacation Island Studios in Brooklyn.
The single is taken from their second album, The Vaccines Come Of Age, which debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Album Chart last week - it was one of the biggest-selling No.1s of the year so far.
Tickets for the wider Vaccines UK tour went on sale at the end of last month.
