This Feeling club night is to celebrate its sixth anniversary with celebrations to take in some of the UK’s most exciting new bands on tour around Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Southampton.
Playing the anniversary tour are Folks (one of Noel Gallagher's favourite new bands and that are due to tour the UK with Band Of Skulls this autumn) who will perform at intimate London and Manchester shows that also coincide the release of their debut LP I See Cathedrals.
Londoners Life In Film, who have been described as ‘Joy Division crossed with early Coldplay’, will play an exclusive acoustic set in London as well as taking to the decks in Glasgow.
In the midst of a tour with The Enemy, East London newcomers Dexters, dubbed ‘the mutant child of The Clash, The Jam and The La's’ – will take the stage in London, Southampton, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Glasgow rockers Vigo Thieves, who recently played T in The Park and have garneres comparisons to U2, will mark the launch of new single Forever by playing the Queen of Hoxton in London, Manchester’s FAC251 and both nights north of the border, where they’ll be joined by the band OK Social Club.
Southampton’s The Lost Boys, whose fans include Edwyn Collins and Paul Weller (who invited the band to record at his studio) will take to the stage in their home town along with Welcome Pariah.
The Fratellis will be celebrating their reunion by playing exclusive DJ sets at the Glasgow and Edinburgh events, while Nick Power of The Coral, will DJ in London and Southampton.
