Three-strike ISP hasn't disconnected any pirates in four years

Irish ISP EIRCOM hasn’t disconnected anyone under its three-strikes anti-piracy rules despite having had the system in place for four years.

EIRCOM adopted the three-strikes system voluntarily in 2010. Under the rules, any customers found to be engaging in copyright-infringing activity would be sent letters warning them of the illegality of their actions.

After a third warning letter, EIRCOM customers are disconnected from the service for 12 months.
