Ticketmaster is to launch a digital ticket exchange service in the US, allowing customers to transfer tickets to others at no extra cost.

The ‘Ticket Transfer’ system aims to provide a level of convenience to customers but also address complaints that paperless ticketing doesn’t allow transfers.

The new platform digitises every ticket and hopes to also scupper attempts at ticket counterfeiting and fraud.
