Live industry backs Consumer Rights Bill amendments on secondary ticketing

A group of live music industry representatives are backing amendments to the Consumer Rights Bill that would make secondary ticketing websites more transparent, ahead of a debate in Parliament today.

Over 80 names have signed an open letter asking the Government to pass legislation that would give consumers information on who they’re buying from, the face value of the ticket, the seat number and whether the ticket is being sold in contravention of its terms and conditions.
