Tileyard Music has formed a new publishing venture with Grammy award-winning producer and writer Ben Langmaid with the sole aim of signing and developing new artists.
The new company, Arnold Music Publishing (AMP) will be a standalone business based at Tileyard with its own A&R and marketing resource.
Signings to AMP will develop under Langmaid and Tileyard partner Michael Harwood. An in-house marketing arm will allow signed artists and their management to develop creative strategies for the material before signing to a major record label.
Langmaid, who is published by BMG Chrysalis, represented by Quest Management’s Tony Beard and is best known for his work with La Roux, was one of the first occupants in the recording studios at Tileyard.
"Our aim with Arnold Music Publishing is to give artists time and support to fulfil their potential,” said Langmaid. “I'm very excited that we now have the opportunity to sign and develop talent that we truly believe in and produce some outstanding music at the same time"
Charlie Arme, partner, Tileyard Music and Arnold Music Publishing commented "The birth of this business has come to fruition over a number of months and I am delighted to formalise our working relationship with Ben. We believe our shared passion for nurturing new talent will create an environment in which artists can succeed".
