One of the music industry's biggest supporters in Parliament, Labour's Tom Watson MP, has quit his role in the Shadow Cabinet - partly to "speak out in areas of personal interest" including "the digital economy".
With the 'parting thought' of his online open resignation letter, Watson told party leader Ed Miliband:
