Torrentz.eu, one of the largest search engines for torrents, has had its domain name suspended after a request from the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU) in the UK.

City of London Police have been working with copyright holders to take down sites providing or linking to pirated content. Last week, requests were sent to various domain registrars to suspend the domain names of several sites. Cyberlocker search engine FileCrop was one of the sites targeted, along with Torrentz.eu.
