Only a day after it was reported to be down, leading torrent search engine Torrentz.eu has been restored.

After receiving a letter from the Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit, Poland-based Nazwa, the site’s domain name registrar, suspended the domain. However this morning the site appears to be functioning again.

Torrentz.eu’s lawyers are said to have contacted the registrar to point out that the domain cannot be held hostage based on a third-party request, basing the argument on an earlier ...
