Metropolis Academy

Metropolis Studios has revealed names on the advisory board for its Metropolis Academy, which will offer would-be producers the chance to learn from industry players through a professional development programme.

Expertise on the programme will be provided by lecturers Ian Ramage and Marc Fox, while an advisory board for the Academy includes the likes of Tracie London, Jeanette Lee, Goldie, Mr. Hudson, Ross Cullum, Peter Vettese, Caroline Elleray, Sam Wheat and Matthew Rumbold.

The courses will take place in the Grade II listed former power station that houses Metropolis and has hosted international acts from The Rolling Stones to Rihanna, Michael Jackson and Elton John.

The Academy Programme will launch in October with two courses: Mastering the Art of Music Production and An Introduction to the Music Business.
