One Direction’s two albums, both released in 2012, have passed the million-selling mark, making them the first act to achieve this feat in the US since Kenny Chesney in 2005.
Reporting Nielsen Soundscan figures, Billboard reports that the first release, Up All Night has clocked up 1.51 million sales since its March release and second album Take Me Home brought in 1.04 million sales since its release in November.
