British rapper Ty, real name Ben Chijioke, has signed to independent label Tru Thoughts Records.
His next releases to come through the label will be two digital EPs – with A Kick Snare & An Idea coming out in April from which a video to the track Like You Never has been released.
Ty has previously released four successful albums and received a Mercury Prize nomination.
He said of the signing: “It’s really nice to feel part of a family of people working to push your music and your dreams, I instantly get the right feeling about Tru Thoughts and I am looking forward to being able to just fly !!! musically and be in control of what I wanna share with the world…”
