American judge denies Megaupload's 'no US address' excuse

A US district judge has denied Megaupload’s request to dismiss a criminal indictment, by arguing that the controversial website wasn't a US company.

Kim Dotcom and co’s lawyers argued that because their company had no US address, it could not be served a criminal summons in relation to their pirate file-hosting business.
