UK finishes 19th at Eurovision with 23 points for Bonnie Tyler
The UK finished 19th out of 26 at Saturday night’s Eurovision song contest as Eighties singer Bonnie Tyler got 23 points for her performance.
Singing her latest single Believe in Me, Tyler got 11 more points than last year's British entry by Engelbert Humperdinck, who finished second to last.
The contest was won by Denmark's Emmelie de Forest, who received 281 points for her song Only Teardrops, well ahead of the runners-up, Azerbaijan.
