Sales of Chris Martin et al's fourth album are down 76% week on week in the listings, having debuted at number one last Sunday.
Virgin's Professor Green remains in third place with a good 5,000 units separating it from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - last week's second highest charting album - now in fourth place.
Elsewhere within the OCC top 10 bestselling albums of the week, and Alfie Boe and the Manic Street Preachers best of - National Treasures, battle it out - with less than 500 sales separating the two in sixth and seventh place respectively.
Meanwhile, Cher Lloyd looks set to enjoy her second number one single as With UR Love - featuring Mike Posner continues to move ahead of last week's chart topper - Professor Green feat. Emelie Sande's Read All About It.
Lloyd's track is the only new single entering the top 10 this week, with Lucenzo & Qwote's Danza Kuduro sitting pretty at number 12.
