Universal Music Publishing Group has renewed its worldwide music publishing administration agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment.
The deal covers music from Warner Bros. Picture, New Line Production and Warner Bros. Television production as well as new releases and the Warner Bros. catalogue.
Warner’s catalogue includes the soundtracks to classic films such as Casablanca, A Clockwork Orange, Harry Potter, The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings. It also includes such TV properties as The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Two and a Half Men, Friends, and E.R.
Discussing the renewed relationship, Michael J. Sammis, UMPG executive VP of operations/CFO worldwide said, “Our global administration efforts have helped revitalise the WBE catalogue and dramatically increase their worldwide revenues.
“We look forward to continuing to provide WBE with superior customer service and doing all we can administratively and creatively to maximize their catalogue value.”
