Universal Music Group has appointed Michele Anthony as executive vice president of US recorded music.
With the role becoming effective on November 1, Anthony will report to UMG chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge and work closely with UMG EVP and CFO Boyd Muir and US recorded music management teams.
She will be tasked with maximising commercial and strategic opportunities across labels, establishing new revenue streams, forming alliances with third parties and overseeing a variety of the company’s special projects.
