Brooks will report to Jay Wilson SVP and head of Publicity and is tasked with devising, implementing, and supervising all-encompassing media campaigns for an expansive roster of acts.
She will continue to spearhead the development and execution of numerous public relations campaigns.
As the label's director of Publicity since 2009, Brooks secured significant exposure on across TV, online and print and aided publicity initiatives for artists including Jessie J, Amy Winehouse, Kelly Rowland, Melanie Fiona, Nas & Damian Marley, Mayer Hawthorne, James Blake, Kid Cudi, Nelly, and more.

Brooks began her career as an intern at Arista Records where she held roles as an executive assistant and eventually coordinator of West Coast Publicity. While at Arista, she worked with Cee-Lo Green, T.I., Outkast, The Neptunes, Kelis, Usher, and more. In 2008, she served as a marketing/PR associate at Warner Bros. Records, working with Wiz Khalifa, E-40, and Lil' Jon. Before she joined Universal Republic, she was a senior account executive at Simone Smalls PR, handling media for the likes of Usher and Grammy Award-nominated songwriter Claude Kelly.
