Universal's Adam White announces retirement

Universal Music Group International's popular VP of communications, Adam White, has announced his retirement after 10 years at the major.

He has been with Universal Music in that capacity since 2002, following a long career in journalism on both sides of the Atlantic with Billboard, Music Week and Rolling Stone, among others.

White will be replaced by Caryn Tomlinson, who has been appointed senior VP, corporate communications, at Universal Music Group International, with immediate effect.
