Universal's label and artist services division in the US, Caroline, has announced the formation of the I.R.S Nashville label, headed up by experienced exec John Grady.
As the President of the label, Grady will position the company as a 'truly independent and viable home for artists', according to Universal - not restricted to country music, but 'in the many genres of music that thrive in Nashville'.
