US charts: Adele equals UK chart-topping record

The release sold another 124,000 copies last week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and is now in joint first place on the all-time list for British studio albums with The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Pink Floyd's The Wall.

Sgt Pepper managed 15 back-to-back weeks heading the Billboard 200 between July and October 1967, while The Wall equalled that run between January and April 1980. But 21 is expected to go one better than both those albums next ...
