Rod Stewart scores his highest-charting album of new material in the US this week since 1979 with Time debuting at No 7.
The album, which includes all but one song co-penned by the singer, sold 52,000 copies first week in the US, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to give him his best chart placing with an album of original material since the chart-topping Blondes Have More Fun. That housed the Billboard Hot 100 No 1 Do Ya Think I'm Sexy.
