US indie TufAmerica has filed a lawsuit against Universal Music alleging that a track on Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange LP samples a Mary J. Blige song without permission.
The suit is aimed at Ocean’s Super Rich Kids, which is said to improperly sample Blige’s Real Love – which TufAmerica owns just 3.15% of.
