V Festival has declared its most successful year to date as 340,000 music fans descended on its Weston Park and Hylands Park sites for the 2013 event.
Kings Of Leon and Beyoncé headlined the two-day festival in its 18th year, which also included sets from Calvin Harris, Jessie J, The Vaccines, Olly Murs, Steve Angello, Rudimental and many more.
“We’re delighted to have celebrated V Festival’s 18th year with an incredible line-up that featured headline performances from two of the hottest acts in music today,” said festival directors Bob Angus, Simon Moran and Dennis Desmond.
“Beyoncé put on a spectacular show whilst Kings of Leon were majestic, 2013 has been a truly spectacular year.”
A limited amount of early bird tickets have been announced for V Festival 2014 at this year’s prices. They will go on sale at 9am this Thursday, August 22.
