Video platform Vevo has launched a bidding system for unsold ad-space.
The real-time bidding system - currently only available in the US - will see unsold pre-roll and other inventory auctioned to current Vevo advertisers.
“It’s basically anything that is unsold at the moment that can possibly get in there,” Vevo’s senior vice president Welby Chen told AdWeek. “And our platform is pretty diverse. [We’re] online, mobile, XBox and tablets.”
