Video startup Vessel to launch in 2015 with 'early access' model to rival YouTube

Vessel, a new San Francisco-based video start-up has raised $75m in initial funding and will launch in early 2015. 

The company will offer a two-tier service, with an ad-supported option and $2.99-a-month paid for version with fewer advertisements.

Vessel subscribers will have access to content 72 hours before the videos are made available on the free version and on other platforms like YouTube.
