Warner COO departs

Warner Music Group's chief operating officer, Rob Wiesenthal, has left the company.

In fact, the exec is leaving the music business altogether, according to a memo obtained by Billboard. Warner CEO Steve Cooper writes that Wiesenthal will be focusing on his role of CEO at Blade, "the first crowdsourced short distance aviation company", which he set up while working at Sony.
