Public spending watchdog Audit Scotland is to review the £150,000 grant given to T In The Park’s promoters to help pay for the event’s relocation to a new site.
A “cronyism” row broke out earlier this year after it emerged DF Concerts' project manager Jennifer Dempsie set up a meeting between the promoter’s CEO, Geoff Ellis, and culture secretary Fiona Hyslop, which led to Hyslop signing off the “one-off grant funding support” for the event’s relocation to Strathallan Castle.
