We7 announces NME.com tie up

In what the company says is a first, every time there is a reference to an artist on NME.com, readers will be able to click to listen to their music. All music will be delivered by We7's music widget.

We7 says that the new service will mean consumers spending more time on NME.com - thus giving benefit to advertisers and the title itself - while discouraging piracy.

In recent ABC figures, NME's sales were down 13.9% in the half year to 48,459.
