WeGotTickets study renews call for widespread paperless ticketing

A new study from WeGotTickets has reinforced the positive environmental impact of paperless ticketing, with the company asking all of its customers to avoid even printing confirmation emails at home.

A paper ticket sent in the post, the report finds, emits 107 times more carbon than paperless ticketing when a confirmation email isn’t printed.

When a confirmation email is printed, it produces 42 times more carbon than if it wasn’t.
