Richard Clayderman signs with Decca for new album

International best-selling pianist Richard Clayderman has signed with Decca Records to release comeback album Romantique.

The licence deal for the album covers the world (excluding, France, Japan, India and Indonesia) and marks his first major album release in the UK for over a decade.

The Frenchman is arguably the world's most successful pianist, having sold over 85 million albums and holding the accolade of having the fourth biggest-selling single of all time in Ballade Pour Adeline.
