Xenomania's Higgins at BASCA event

Hit songwriting and production founder Xenomania's founder Brian Higgins will be among the guests taking part in a forthcoming BASCA event to support songwriters and composers.

Higgins, whose company has worked with artists such as Girls Aloud, The Saturdays, Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys and Sugababes, figures in the line-up for BASCA's fourth event in its professional development programme on Tuesday, September 25. The 6.30 to 9.30pm session will be held in the PRS for Music Boadroom in Berners Street, London.

Also participating will be composer, arranger, record prodcuer, musical director and musician Ian Tilley who has worked with artists inclding Hayley Westenra, Libera and All Angels. Joining him and Higgins for the first half of the evening will be Perfect Songs creative director Mel Redmond, while the second half will include triple Ivor Novello and double BAFTA winning media composer Martin Phipps. He will appear alongside EMI Production Music global creative manager Hannah King.
