Yahoo! Music has partnered with The Echo Nest in a deal that will see the news site utilise real time music data to help power its content.

Hypebot reports that the multi-year agreement will see Echo Nest's 'Dynamic Music Data' solution power Yahoo! Music with reviews, blog posts, artist images and social network activity.

Some of the specific features provided include location-based music recommendations, direct artist social networking activity, how well the artist is known, their latest reviews, blog posts ...
