YouTube introduces fan-funding feature
YouTube has added a new feature for users in Australia, Japan, Mexico and the US, which allows donations to be made to channel owners.
The streaming giant announced plans for the launch of a fan-funding option earlier this year, with the initial, unpublicised launch of the feature taking place in four countries only.
Donations can be made by clicking an icon that will appear in the top left corner of a video.
